Where is the Tobesofkee Lakehouse located?
The Lakehouse is in Macon, GA, directly on Lake Tobesofkee and less than 10 minutes from I-475, grocery stores, and restaurants. The Lakehouse is located approximately ~25 minutes from downtown Macon, the Macon Coliseum, and the Macon Ampitheatre.

How many guests can stay at the property?
The property accommodates up to 14 adults or 16 guests total overnight.   

Can I host an event on the property?
Events are gatherings on the property in excess of 14 adults or 16 people.  Private events and/or gatherings are approved on a case-by-case basis.  Events open to the general public are prohibited.  Please send an inquiry with the details of your specific request.

Is parking available?
Yes, the driveway can accommodate up to 10 vehicles. 

What is the check-in/check-out time?
Check-in: 4:00 PM (contactless entry with a code)
Check-out: 10:00 AM

What are the quiet hours?
10 PM – 7 AM on weekends and 9 PM - 7 AM on weekdays.

Are pets allowed?
Yes, for a $150 per-pet fee. Pets must be supervised at all times.

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is permitted only in the backyard or dock area. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home, on the front steps, balconies/decks, or on the terrace to avoid smoke from inadvertently entering the home. For the sake of a sanitary and clean environment for all guests, cigarette butts and any related paraphernalia must be properly disposed of in the trash.

Are parties allowed?
No. Residential quiet hours are strictly enforced.  Invitations to the general public to the property are not allowed.

Is the home child-friendly?
Yes! However, there is no barrier between the property and the lake—children must be supervised at all times. A highchair, pack ‘n play, and baby gate are provided.

Are security cameras on the property?
Yes, exterior security cameras monitor entrances all 24/7. This home is also equipped with devices that monitor the environment inside the property (including noise levels, air quality, temperature, and motion) to ensure guests have a pleasant stay and the property neighbors are not disturbed. Tampering with security equipment is illegal and will result in immediate eviction.

Is the hot tub available for guest use?
Yes, the hot tub is free for guest use and is continually heated at 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Can guests use the fireplace?
Yes, there is a gas fireplace inside and both gas & wood firepits outside. Firewood is provided.

Does the Lakehouse have direct lake access?
Yes! The property includes a private dock with a boat slip. 

What water activities are available?
4 kayaks, 1 three-person canoe, and 2 Stand-up paddleboards are provided along with paddles & life vests.

Can guests bring their own boat?
Yes! Guests may moor boats at the property's private dock.

Is alcohol allowed on the lake?
No, alcohol is prohibited in the Tobesofkee Recreation Area, including on the lake. Alcoholic beverages can be consumed on the shore or dock but not while on the water.

What are the rental rates?
Rates vary based on season, length of stay, and number of guests. Visit our booking page for up-to-date pricing.

Is there a cleaning fee?
Yes, a cleaning fee applies to each booking and is automatically included in the total reservation rate.

Is there Wifi?
Yes, wifi is provided throughout the property.
